With your brand new bike there is a recommended running in period of around 600 miles. During this time it is advised that the bike should not be ridden above half revs for long periods of time. Also a visual and physical check should be carried out regularly within this period. The first check is due at around 300 miles and the second at 1000 miles, this can be arranged with us and starts at  £35+VAT each.

On Road
Daily checks
1 Visual checks of nuts and bolts and tighten if necessary. 
2 With bike level, check tyre pressures, oil and brake fluid levels are OK. (top up as required)
3 Check lights work OK (replace bulbs as required)

 Do not over tighten any nuts or bolts. Stripped threads and rounded nuts are not easily fixed!

Weekly checks
1 Check all visible nuts and bolts and spokes, if applicable. 
2 Check Oil and brake fluid levels (Top up as required)
3 Check Tyre pressures (inflate as required)
4 Check lights work OK (replace bulbs as required)


First check at 300 miles
Second check at 1000 miles
Next service at 2500 miles
Subsequent services every 1800 miles


Subsequent servicing is to be carried out within manufacturer guidelines and starts at £35+VAT for routine servicing.

All our bikes come with a standard 12 months parts warranty (this does not affect your statutory rights). The option to upgrade this warranty to include all labour charges is as follows.
